East Barnet Old Grammarians Association was formed 60 years ago, primarily for football, with the Committee meeting in the back room of The Cat pub (at the bottom of Cat Hill, long since demolished). The Association is now for everybody who attended East Barnet Grammar School or East Barnet School, and for those who belong or have belonged to the various sections of Ebog Sports Club (Football, Golf, Netball, Hockey, Bowls)

Every few months a newsletter is produced, containing news, views and contributions by members. The newsletters are available through the Association page of the Ebog website. Membership of the Association simply means that you register your name, address and contact details on the Association database, and if you are on e-mail you can receive newsletter free. For those who would like a paper copy sent to them, we ask you to pay a one off fee of £35/year which covers postage, printing and stationery and ensures you will receive a lifetime supply. The Editor, Brian Pritchard, an old student, actually edits the newsletter from California, USA through the wonders of the Internet. Distribution of the paper copy is done by volunteers in UK."

Photos of reunions (often held at the Clubhouse) over the past few years can be found on the Ebog website, and should you wish to organise a reunion, the Association can help you.

Ebog Football Club, with its premises at Alan Drive, Barnet, is the main lease of life for the Association. Like most voluntary clubs, it survives only because of the dedication of its members. Fundraising is essential, and the 100 Club, run by Rick Smyth, brings in income for the Club as well as offering a very good chance of winning one of 3 cash prizes every month. You can join for only £12/year.
